TOP TECH SEARCHES
Games, gadgets and the Web - Canadians seem to love all of them, according to the top tech-related searches this year. Most of all, people searched in droves for virtual pet adoption site Neopets, and the riveting pair of BC eagles who starred in their own webcam show.
But tech-lovers weren't just staring at computer screens in the dark: searches turned skyward throughout the year, bringing NASA and meteor shower searches into the top 10.
Looking at the top video game searches, Canadians shared the love between old school games such as the online word game Text Twist and Tetris, to the newly released Sony PlayStation3, and the popular E3 gaming convention.
